Native Geebungs grow around us on our property on the far south coast of NSW and this year have carried an abundance of fruit. Their berries are a kind of bush tucker, and seeing them I remember with respect and gratitude the people who have cared for this land for thousands of years and their vast storehouse of knowledge.
